Subscriptions
Written by the SMMFollows support team. Updated 2026-11-01.
A subscription watches a public account and places an order for every new post it publishes. It's the "set and forget" option for accounts that post regularly.
Setting one up
- Choose a service that supports subscriptions. Its description says so, and the order form changes to the subscription fields.
- Username: the account to watch.
- Min and max: for each new post, a random quantity between these two is ordered. Equal values give a fixed quantity.
- Delay: minutes to wait after a post appears before ordering. Choose from 0 up to 600 (ten hours). A delay of 10 to 30 minutes looks more natural than instant.
- Posts (optional): stop after this many new posts.
- Old posts (optional, where offered): also order for this many of the account's existing posts right away.
- Expiry (optional): a date after which the subscription stops, written as day/month/year.
Managing subscriptions
The Subscriptions page lists active ones with their settings. From there you can pause or cancel a subscription. Orders it has created show on the Orders page like any other order and are charged as they're created, so keep an eye on your balance; a subscription with no funds simply stops ordering until you top up.
Why a subscription isn't ordering
- The account turned private, or the username changed.
- Your balance is too low for the min quantity.
- The posts limit or expiry date was reached.
- The new post type isn't covered by the service (for example a service for posts won't react to stories).
